First of all, I disagree with your logic that because of the very true fact that most people in 3rd world countries can't buy luxuries including games,, that none at all would purchase them.  In fact, the truth should be right in front of you in the "others" chart when you pop on vgchartz.com.  The third world does have some people that are rich, dude.

The percentage of "rich" people in a third world country is too insginifigant to impact this conversation. 

 Dead Rising should have been a 40 hour game. It easily could have been. That was a pathetically small Mall. The newest mall in Florida is 3 stories and they are building one with 6. Why couldnt they have made it that big seriously most malls in other states other then Florida puts even the 6 story one to shame. 

 On Gears - You sure? I thought it was released like a week or two after... oh well if it was then ya thats 1 more game that improves the line up but not greatly. 

@Alex - COD3's only negative was it wasnt on PC. It was made by the same guys that made the original which is the best of the series. In order: COD; COD4; COD3; COD2. Also to give a 1 up 2 COD games first year for PS3 1 for 360. 

 Folklore isnt an RPG. Its an action adventure title with RPG elements.

 GRAW and GRAW2 are bad due to current offerings of a high calibur. 

 Raiinbow 6... ok I just hate tactical shooters.. because they dont allow me to put my own tactics into play and run and gun at the same time. 

We are also comparing first year to first year so GT5 shouldnt have been included into your comeback.  

Warhawk's controls arent crap. Have you ever played it? You would know its the best 3rd person online only shooter game out right now.

R&C is greatly improved over the others. 

ssj12, im pretty sure xbox360 dvds are not large enough to hold 40 hours of a hd game...

on topic, to early to say sony disappointing. it has only been out for a year

@ssj12, now i have been to places with 6 story malls, a town with 54k people could not support it. it was based on the small town feel, personaly my biggest gripe with the game was zombies out of no where, and after you kill the entire population of the town by mutalating them, there really should not be that many more zombies.

COD3 sucked.... but i was not a fan of cod2 either....... one of the biggest weaknesses in my library this gen is a solid wwII first person/third person shooter.

@Blackhawk, funny i have spent that much time exploring deadrising easy. vivapinata too, really the amount of time the game takes is dependent on multiple things, the type of game, how you play it, and what you consider a gameplay hour.

Alexi: You ask everyone why the PS3 is starting off so slow. I will answer it for you.
-Lack of AAA exclusive games (improving)
-Great competition (getting worst)
-Most expensive system by far (improving)
-Lack of features that competitors have (improving)
-Bad ports (improving)
-Horrible PR and Marketing (improving)
that in a nutshell is why the PS3 is under performing.
Second, you say you have lost "faith" in the Sony brand yet you constantly remind people that you yourself will pick up a PS3 sometime in 2008, where everyone knows the majority of Sony's exclusive titles are released.... that my son, is NOT losing faith. That's called "waiting because no game at the moment appeals to me".

Anyways, only a fool would say that the PS3 "has lost" or will "win" for this current generation now. Why? b/c no one fucking knows yet. I'm sick of all these people predicting BS as if they have some kind of time machine. For example, we all know the PS2 was a huge success. When the PS2 came out it showcased games such as "fantavision" and "summoner", it's highest selling points were the built-in DVD player and (get ready for this!) POTENTIAL. Yeah, you all heard me. I know it's quite surprising isn't it?? Can you believe that people buy systems based off of future exclusive games??? it's freaking insane, i tell you. I mean what kind of morons would buy a Xbox360 for titles like Halo 3 when the system launches, obviously most people got a 360 for Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero. Anyway, my point is that the PS2 (which is the measuring stick for all home consoles) didn't exactly take off either. According to VGchartz, the PS2 had only 2 million more systems sold if the launches were aligned and was 2 times cheaper than the PS3. I sick of all these threads and post about people attempting to nail down a systems fate as "winner or failure" with only 2 years into the generation.

It's quite difficult to believe you're 30 years old when you make a childish post like that. It's funny how the majority of this board are a bunch of prepubescents.
