My first "console" was this little pirate NES console i got on my vacation to my grandparents home, my mom and dad are from this place called Jordan (as in "kingdom of"), i was 9 years old at the time

it was a black system with "1001 games in 1" in it, the most memorable ones were: Super Mario Bros, Battle City (or "tanks" as i called it), duck hunt, bubble bobble and some others...

btw 99% of those games were just duplicates of the same bunch of titles, just starting at different levels

BUT it led me to go on and get an actual SNES and become a nintendo fan for good and later buy all following N-consoles. who ever said piracy was bad for companies? lol

you can see pretty much everything I own under my game collection.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

PS1 first, then Nintendo 64, PS2, Nintendo GameCube (only for Super Smash Brothers Melee) and Xbox(for Halo and Halo 2), 360, PS3 and Wii, PS3 Slim



2010 Hardware Sales Predictions

Wii: 20m- Sales will drop, but not by much.

PS3: 13.5m- It sold 12m in 2009, its only common sense it will sell more this year.

Xbox 360: 11m- It sold 11m in 2008 and 2009, I think it will sell the same.

My Fanboy Speech...

Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!

my parents say it was the super NES. But the earliest I remember was my genesis.

I mine was the atari 2600 .. but apart from that I had ninteno game & watch handhelds like donkey kong and octopus

First console I got was an Atari ST (well my bros got it)

Then we got a NES (best console ever)
Then I got a Mega Drive (first one that was bought personally for me)
Then I got an N64
Then I got a Gameboy Colour
Then I got a Gamecube
Then I got a Gameboy Advance
Then I bought a SNES from e-bay to complete my Nintendo collection
Then my bro got a PS2 (Final Fantasy and Pro Evo were great but I was a bit disappointed overall)
Then I got a Wii
Then I got a DS
Then finally I got an Xbox 360 (the first non-Nintendo console I personally got since the Mega Drive and the best non-Nintendo console I've played since the Atari ST)
