Oh, the guy that had a Blue Hue around him? You didn't screw up, he was going to die anyway as you went along the game.

The only problem is that by killing him, you lowered your character tendency to black, so now you'll have less HP when being in soul form. In the Tendency screen is the central statue a bit more grey/black than usual?

Thanks for the answers and tips, well I was wondering if I did anything wrong with him, I almost used those demons souls(boss souls) but I tought I might wait a bit for that lol.

Btw, where can I get a bow to kill that spider in 2-1, its seems to be impossible without range weapons....

There's a bow in 1-2, the Compound Short Bow. It's on the top of the second tower, the one that has four crossbow soldiers at the bottom before you enter it.

Also, the Spider boss in 2-1 is more difficult to beat using bows than melee, at least in my opinion. I've never had any troubles with him, just use a fire resistant shield like the Purple Flame Shield, run towards him with your shield up, stay there until he drops down, hit him, and run towards the fog gate when he charges up his AoE flame attack. Repeat until he's down.

3-1 is in the prison right ?

I got that bow in 1-2 but I dropped it, as I tought I'd never need it, my character didn't had the ability to use it yet so now I need another bow....

3-1 is the prison stage of the Tower of Latria yes, be careful, that's one of the most confusing stages in the whole game, right next to 5-2, plus it's filled with magic wielding guards that can kill you in one magic shot if you're not careful.

The other stages in which you can get Bows now is 4-1 and 4-2. There's a vendor in 4-1 and 4-2 who sells Short and Long Bows, and the Compound Long Bow can be found in the platform to the left of Vanguard which has a Silver Bow Skeleton at the top.

OK, thanks. Well now for some reason in 1-1 the dragons were gone, so I got the purple flame shield, ring of fire and ring of strength.
I can't use the purple shield because it says I don't have enough ability to use it. What do I need to upgrade to use this shield ?

Probably it's because the Boletaria Castle stages are now in White Tendency.

The dragons start dissapearing the closer you get to Pure White Tendency. As you've defeated two bosses in Boletaria Castle, and estimating that you didn't die as Physical form, only soul form in any of the stages, you are now 60% towards Pure White, enough for the Dragons to dissapear.

Also, for you to use the Purple Flame Shield, you'll need to have at least 22 Strength. It's an hefty investment, but it's worth it, as in my opinion, the Purple Flame Shield +10 it's the single best shield in the entire game. I've used it even on NG+ and it gets the job done like no other Shield (Probably the Tower Shield can top it, but it's too heavy and has weaker Fire Resist).

Oh yeah, those heros souls and renowned heros souls, can we use it at all time or are they used for something else than collecting souls ?
