It's an awesome game. A bloody awesome so much fun too cool for school game.

 

That said, why didn't it contain all the content (with new controls) that was in Wii Sports? Why is it that we get improved golf and bowling but no tennis, boxing or baseball? Why don't we get all the same training excercises we had in Wii Sports? Can you imagine how awesome tennis target practice would be with the M+? How amazing Boxing could have been if instead of the wiimote and nunchuck, you used two wiimotes with M+ attatched!?

 

This bizzare omission manages to qualify Wii Sports Resort as simultaneously the best game of the year and the biggest disappointment. What luxury resort doesn't have a tennis court!?

So new Wii owners in Korea and Japan need to get both to get the full experience of both of the games? So Wiil owners in most places will still feel like Wii + Wii Sports is a good, unique package?

It doesn't seem that Wii Sports Resort is meant to replace Wii Sports. Nintendo wants to move both titles.

I do give them props for making some of the side-games into full-scale sports, though.

WSR is a full price product, Wii Fit Plus isn't

tennis would have been great with motion plus would be like grand slam tennis.

Motion plus is better suited to table tennis than regular tennis because of the fine detail of putting spin on the ball.

Boxing with two wii-motes and motion plus seems like a nice project, but I don't think you'll ever see a professional developer take this approach to the controls. It's just weird. Plus boxing was taken care of in Punch-out!!

Baseball would have been nice, but only if they improved the gameplay to be more fair and less random.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure this is not the last we'll see of Wii Sports. I can't wait for more.
