What was the successful one? (honest question)
Point taken, I still stand by my opinion that it will fail for the reasons noted though but I can't deny the success of Wii Fit.

Well let's just put it this way: Microsoft's first attempt at a successful Xbox 360 motion controller will be an EyeToy clone.
See, I can be biased too! |
And the PS3's first GOTY is a Tomb Raider clone!
Wow, this is fun!

Well, at least I am not fake. |
Oh, you two!
OT: I certainly can't imagine it pushing hardware along the lines of what the Wii has seen, but given the right software and word of mouth, it should have a boost. However large, I have no idea.

As a failure, and Home has nothing to do with Legend's post either. He said Sony would "copy" Natal, which has nothing to do with Home, at all. Also, who the heck is "kwaad", and if twesterm thinks Home is a failure, the question remains. |
Home isn't a failure, it's just a giant pile of ass.
It makes money so woohoo for Sony (since it costs at costs about $1000 to make an object) but Home itself just isn't good and fails on most everything it does.

While I agree home is not for me. A lot of people use it these days. There are a lot of rooms to hang out in. Rooms like the Uncharted ones always have A LOT of people in them. And I see a lot of people with purchased gear there too. Home may not be for everyone or even most people but a lot of people seem to like it as a social networking venue. and if I had to guess it's profitable for Sony. And my guess is the game companies themselves have to pay for there own rooms.
I wish natal would flop badly. I don't need that kind of crap on my favourite console.
I've got to assume natal is going to be one of the must have christmas items for 2010, there's just too much buzz. Only time will tell.
