could be obito's body actually since his eye was taken away, and madara also sees only using one eye...possible

i think he has a special body that is made by zetsu if hes not in his real body

it doesn't make a difference, even though it was HIS left eye. but his body was crushed. so i agree with ninjablade, it might be tangled up with zetsu somehow. but that doesn't say what's in the box.
they get people back from the dead for God's sake, can't they heal a body, lol...(that's fun)lolololololololololololol, ahhh
