I'm pretty sure that earlier this year they renewed a contract to make the next 3 games exclusively for Sony. So unless this is 3 years down the track it's unlikely to be real.

Yes and we didn't really believe it then either, but something has to be coming out of their second studio
They've said this year after year. Then they say "No, we're staying exclusive for the forseeable future". Make your mind up already.
Edit: Better yet, Sony should just buy them, so they can silence this forever.

Let's get one thing straight first.no game that sells more than 500K in copies is a failure. secondly why would they use a dvd format to make new great looking games when they are already known as one of the companies that has learned how to really boost results from the cell processor. It just seems technicly like a step backwards. Oh and yeah R3 will come out and it will be awsome.
I agree with a another user, Ratchet is there best efforts. Resistance 1 Good, Resistance 2 nope. Ratchet games have all been great on the PS3.
I do hope they do a Survival Horror game though.
Well...it takes 2-4 years to develop a new IP, so it wouldn't be far fetch if the rumor has been swirling for the past few years...Same for Bungie.

And the fud goes on. I can remember rumors of Naughty Dog going multi-plat until the fanboys realised they were owned by Sony. The rumors are entirely aimed at somehow thinking it'l damage the PS3.
If they did go multi-plat which i doubt it's not exactly a big thing is it?. Sony would just replace them with another 3rd party studio such as United Front Games and Modnation Racers. Just makes me laugh that fans of a particular console need to be so aggresive and always attacking the PS3. On neogaf in the past there's been xbox fanboys almost begging for them to go multi-plat so it'l damage the PS3. The problem they've got is that the quality PS3 exclusives will keep coming and the constant fud that Sony games dont sell just looks desperate.

Really? RE5... which barely fits the bill... Dead Space, and Silent Hill HC/SM... not really sure that counts as saturation...
