Im going to be honest i made a foolish mistake, a friend gave me his account info and after a falling out recently i went into his account and changed his password locking him out, yes i know i shouldnt have done it.

He phoned Sony, and now today i turned by PS3 on and got error 8002A277 "You can not access the Playstation account on this sytem", after looking on google i found out the obvious ive been banned.

Every account i go on says the same, when i try to make a new account again the same.

I havent had the chance to phone sony but i will tommorow.

So what do i do, do you think its temporary or permanent? if its permanent is there any way to get back online without buying anew PS3.

I know ive done wrong but i really need your guys help for this one thing.

try using a different email address maybe

Geez, thats a pretty mean thing you did there buddy but I feel sorry for you. You should definitely try calling sony to see if they can forgive you. Perhaps you should check if your psn account can log into playstation.com as well and try creating a new one too. Sucks that you'll lose all your psn-attached saves though.

Steal an unsuspecting friend's PS3 and replace it with yours. Clear the hard drive first, though. Then act all shocked and astonished : "Hey Todd! Your PS3 is acting funny! You didn't press the power button too quickly, did you? That clears the hard drive!"

Or, you can just be a man and accept your fate.
