Forums - Sony Discussion - Heavy Rain new footage!!!!!! (warning bit of nudity)

This trailer has actually made me want to buy this game, before seeing this there was no way I was getting it.

Around the Network

From what I've seen of the game, this trailer doesn't do it justice.

Still, if I had a PS3 it would be my most anticipated game.

Is this an open world game like GTA?

What's the genre?

Game looks better and better everytime I see it

Kind of reminds me of The Sims at some parts

Not like GTA. Mulitiple paths can be taken though, so it's non-linear too.

Genre - Mature Dark-Noir Thriller/Adventure (at this point)

Graphically it has no competitor IMO.

...except this: http://cubo.cc/

...this looks so creepy, it must be buried beneath the uncanny valley

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.
TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

Man these trailers are getting me more and more hyped for this game.

The complete opposite for me. I saw the QTEs in the action sequences involving shaking the controller and I am so completely out.

I give this thread a 9.3.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.

Nothing against this game at all, I'm sure it will be great, but this looks like the kind of thing that would put me to sleep at night. The only reason being that I usually start gaming around 9 or 10 pm after my son is in bed and my wife is done with the TV. By then I'm usually a bit tired, but not willing to give up my nightly gaming session. I usually just tough it out until 12 or 1 until I can't keep my eyes open anymore. If there is a lot of cut scene stuff and a lot of dialogue to follow, it will most likely put me into a coma. Again, nothing against the game itself; it just has to do with the time of day I play games. For the same reason, I gave up on MGS4. I just had real trouble getting through any of it without nodding off. What can I say? I have a really comfy couch.

Looks extremely....boring?

I dunno, it seems so much like those old Sega CD games where u watch a movie and at certain points you pick option a or b.
