So my Son and his friend were playing Warhawk, and I took the controller from my Son so I could play.

He said "why don't you just grab another controller"

I said "what good would that do? you already have two controllers on"

He said "You can play 4 players on Warhawk"

I "lol, Son no you can't, now shut up i'm trying to play"

He said "yes you can, wanna bet"

I said "ya sure, ok bet, what ever, move out of the way"

My Son grabs a controller and I see the (2 player Spilt Screen) turn to (3 player Split screen)

I just pause "WTF??????????"

He said "Told you so, then holds up the box (1-4 players offline split screen)

All this time and I didn't even think to read the back of the box...

Side Note, we need to get more people playing this game, down to only 1 official server going..

This game is to GREAT to not have people still playing..

I tried playing with my brother in law, and I thought it was too confusing (couldn't control my aircraft at all), but the local multiplayer aspect of the game is awesome.

The bad thing about Warhawk 2 player local is the split screen side to side, and no way to change it top and bottom.

But 4 players on a 61in HDTV is purty..

i played this yesterday and it has changed alot its almost impossible to find a game that uses the full map

The learning curve was too steep for me to keep playing after a few tries because I wasn't that hyped for the game in the first place. I got a little better after a few tries but not competitive enough to really enjoy it. Then I just stopped and on my shelf it sits. Been about a year since I touched it.

I used to be king in warhawk.. only badgerfan could beat me and that was a rare occassion..

Now I am a KZ2 king, and doing somewhat ok in U2

What?! Warhawk has local multiplayer?! Crap, I need to get it.

OP - yes. it's a feature that's been there from day 1. I used to play 4 player split screen a lot back in the day at my friends house. We even still play nowadays from time to time. It's so awesome because some people get confused as shit cause there is four of you running around. The only pain in the ass about it is that they don't let you do it in every room. So when you are searching for a game, you have to make sure they allow split screen in that room.

It's also fun just to start a death match and split screen it with four people. I used to own my friends pretty hard.
