It's not on rails. It's just like EDF like I've been saying since the last thread.

Well, If it's like EDF count me in. This game is going to be awesome.

Looks pretty damn good to me. I really like the idea of an action adventure game with various weapons taking advantage of Wii motion +. Plus it's published by Nintendo! I only hope it's not too constricting, the whole on rails thing has me a bit skeptical. I think it'll be more like you follow a locked path but have relative freedom to move around within that linear path, so I don't think it'll be on rails per se.

looks good

I've heard nothing but good things about EDF I still want to pick it up, maybe try it out and if I like it I'll pick up this game since they do look very similar in video.

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

The main reason you can think it could be onrail is the close camerapoint. You don't see that much.

But EDF2017 has that too and that isn't onrail.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Well... it seems to have a weapon level up system and a character HP system. there is also a blocking system and combo system of sorts. 1 character seems to have a magic meter. There are a few sword meters which seem to indicate swing strength, as well as a hit system... judging by various 0's recorded as damage. The swings follow the blue line... which i figure is an intricate part of the dismemberment system.

Im not impressed. My anticipation level for this game just went down. The graphics are average for Wii, the on rails doesnt bother me, but the trailer looks repetitive, and im skeptical as to how WM+ is used at all. The trailer suggests the IR is used to simulate swings.

Looks terrible

Check the trailer. The gameplay is a mix of Dragon Quest Swords with Wario Ware

You draw this paint brush blue line on the screen, wait for a few seconds and your character slashses.

Talk about some dissapointment... I thought this was going to be like Wii Sports Resort sworfighting, but like, in a real game.
