The new 360's have the new chip and combined with the 3 yr warranty you are pretty well protected from hardware issues. Right now you can get some very nice bundles with the Premium model. |
Actually, I have never paid more than $30 a year with Live. I buy my cards off eBay. You can get it cheaper than that. You have to do some searching, though ...
