Importers, hold on to your soon-to-be coveted Final Fantasy XIV campaign code! The Final Fantasy XIII bonus item does two things.

The twenty digit code packaged with the first shipment of Final Fantasy XIII gives future Final Fantasy XIV players a secret item when the MMO debuts next year. Before that happens, the campaign code is also a ticket to apply for the PlayStation 3 Final Fantasy XIV beta.

Square Enix did not announce how many Final Fantasy XIV beta testers they will accept, but if you want a chance at the PS3 Final Fantasy XIV beta in Japan you need a campaign code. As of now, there’s no other way to get access to it. Anyone, can apply for the PC beta, though.

Is XIV even coming out for the 360 that last timed I heard about it was that SE was seeing if it could work on it.

FFXIV is exclusive on Consoles, but i think that'll change soon.. i mean, why should'nt they release it for 360? 

And the last message i've read last, was that theyre 'checking other Platforms for compatibility aswell'.

Final Fantasy XI came out on 360, I don't see why XIV wouldn't.

I dont care about FFXIV being exclusive

I m just saying that right now, you have a (at least timed) exclusive code that will give you access to the beta of FFXIV and you have FFXIII partially timed exclusive that is released selling a lot of copies AND selling a lot of PS3

and guess what ? Sony just doesn't seem to comment on it ....

What did you want them to say?
More importantly, which version of Sony did you want to comment?

his point is that sony should be pushing this beta application as a selling point for those on the fence of ps3/360 ff13 copy. imo

You assume the NA/EU are getting the betas.

SE already said they will do whatever it takes to make both versions as fair as possible.
Which is obviously gonna mean no beta codes outside Japan.
In Japan, they have supposedly sold over 1mil copies already, I don't think they need to say anything.
