I haven't been in a Gamestop the past few weeks but I'm 100% positive you can walk into any store that regularly sells PS3's and buy a PS3 (or whatever console you're looking for).

Why did you link FFXIII?

not really thread worthy... noone has infinite ps3 you know.

not the $299 ps3, I went to best buy yesterday, and there were no $299 ps3s

but huge amounts of $349 ps3s

also I linked FF XIII because everyone is cought on the FF XIII hype, so might as well =P

well i live in chicago and i have 3 best buys and 2 gamestops around my area
i was at best buy and bought inglorious basterds on blu ray
andddddd they were LOTS of PS3 (120 and 250gb) XBOX360 and Wii's but i mean A LOT
plus went to gamestop half block my loft to buy a DS game and they have in stock too

Online accounts for less than 2% of total console sales. Personal anecdote you visited one store and PS3 was sold out. FFXIII was not even released in North America.

We are completely sold out of all consoles at the Wal-Mart where I work. Plenty of PSP's and DS's though.

Also, games are no longer locked up behind glass in my store, they're in plastic security boxes. Idk if this is just local or national though.

Just went to the mall yesterday at Great Mall (Milpitas, CA). Gamestop has a lot of $299.99 PS3s if someone wants to go there to buy one.

I went to a mall where they had 2 Gamestops 100ft away from each other and they had plently.

canada boxing day bundles are kind of equal to black friday bundles so that'll be awesome for new buyers here.
