Some of my favorites: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Nevermore, Nile, Necrophagist, Arch Enemy, Yngwie Malmsteen, Immortal.

Some other bands I also like: Symphony X, Opeth, Strapping Young Lad, Testament, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, Sodom. And I'm probably forgetting some others...

Oh yes, I am a big fan of Metal. Sabbath is my favourite band, but I like nearly all metal.

This thread isn't going to end well me thinks. August Burns Red and Immortal in the same conversation is just asking for heads to crash, but none the less I will post of the early extreme metal bands.

@snyperdud: I like your songs, especially the Born of Osiris one. Never heard of them before.

BTW I forgot to mention some more cool bands... Witchery, Urkraft, Mercyful Fate, Meshuggah.

NJ5 who would you say like better as the singer of Arch Enemy? I mean Angela has the props of awesome vocals and she is pretty hot too.

To be honest I don't really like their previous vocalist... Angela has a much more interesting voice IMO. Saw her live twice, she's as powerful as in the albums.

BTW props for mentioning Destruction. I hadn't listened to them for years but they're awesome. There are some other pretty cool German thrash bands like Kreator.

Yea Angela is way more aggressive than the previous singer, which is why I like her more too. Also, to keep this thread heavy, gonna add a mix of two things that are awesome Berserk and Dark Tranquillity.

Yea Kreator is pretty sick, if you guys look you can find some awesome Black Metal documentaries, I will put up the first part of the vids.
