Forums - General Discussion - Vote L-Block For Character Battle VI Champion!!!!

I'm not voting for him because he's just a block. And if people had animosity against those who caused their characters to be eliminated then L-Block should be very high on the hit list. I'm voting for him because he's had a unique impact on the industry. Plus, I like screwing with the people who take the character battle so seriously.

They should have the l-block and the companion cube face off.

Next year I'm nominating Weighted Companion Cube and Johnny Style (if you played/beat Zack & Wiki you would understand).

Weighted Companion Cube is incredibly popular on Gamefaqs and has a real chance of challenging L-Block next year.  Johnny Style not so much, but he deserves to be in anyway!

Yeah, the Companion Cube would totally 0wn in the CB.

But this year... go L! :D

I'll vote for Cloud as always, and he'll lose as always. Supporting the favorite is never any fun so Link is out. L-Block isn't a character though I was tempted to vote for it anyway. Solid Snake deserves a vote but I only have so many...

because everyone likes to hate on L-block by saying he isn't a real character, I wrote a quick back story for our favorite block. enjoy:

L-block grew up on small blocking ranch just outside of Lincoln Nebraska. His wife is square-block(opposites do attract) and he has many kids which are lower case L blocks(l-blocks).

Things were going great until Papa L-block and Mama L-block got into a terrible blocking accident (It was a gory scene, blocks were everywhere and you couldn't identify Papa's blocks from Mama's blocks).

After that happened he went into a horrible depression, and gained about 4 blocks (to say the least he was fattt). He lost the blocking farm and his job as a big time block salesman.

All seemed lost until one day when he got hired at a dead-end job (Wendy's).He was working when Alexey Pajitnov (tetris creator) came in, spotted him, and asked him to try-out for his game. He decided to try out because he wanted a better life for his wife and the little l-blocks. He got the job beating out H-block and E-block and also talked Alexey into letting his kids be in the game. And the rest is history...
