Maybe you mean Insomniac? Naughty Dog is first party.

Also, Insomniac has never developed for anything but a Sony platform since they were founded in 1994. Every game, from Disruptor to R&CF: ACiT, has been Sony-exclusive.

Bioware, in contrast, has only been developing for Microsoft platforms (PC is not a Microsoft platform) since KOTOR in 2003. Six years, compared to 15. What's more, they just made a multiplat PS3-360-PC game.

If Mass Effect stayed exclusive, it would be because of a contract, not company loyalty.

No bubble was bursted. It was my mistake and I meant to say Insomniac. I mixed them up with Naughty Dog because they worked on Crash Bandicoot with them.

this post reeks of failure...

Um dude.....the only failure in my post was the fact that I wrote Naughty Dog instead of Insomniac games. Believe it or not Microsoft has companies they work closely with without owning them much like Sony. Bioware just happens to be one of them and its sad they never made them first party.

Yeah, I meant Insomniac. That was my mistake. Bioware is very close with Microsoft and have been for quite a few years. This is one of the reasons so many people were pissed Microsoft never bought Bioware before EA got their dirty hands on them. Bioware liked working on the PS3 as they've stated from interviews, but I doubt highly that they have any exclusives lined up for Sony. Microsoft will get much more from them in the future after Mass Effect is complete.
