I really like both games but I'll go for KH2. I simply enjoyed KH2 more than KH1. I like the combos, the master form and Final form were awesome. KH2 for me was a huge improvement from KH1. KH2 was easy that's the only gripe I have for this game.
(KH 1 is a lot harder than KH 2).

I liked KH2 more. It didn't have as good a story, but the gameplay was a lot more fun and a lot of issues such as the cameras were fixed. I loved the drive modes too.

KH2 for me, the story and gameplay was far better than KH1

the only thing i hated about KH2 that it was very easy compared to KH1

i have only play the 2 so iam going with it.

KH2 is just superior in every way. I am a KH fanboy and I adored the first game, but im not so much of a nostalgiafag that im not going to give props to one of the greatest sequels of all time. there is just no comparison. the second game is best, period.

KH1 for me, part 2 was just to easy, i could have beaten the whole game with the x button

I've said this multiple times, and probably everyone has heard it already, but here goes again.

I think KH1 sucks. I think KH2 is simply fantastic. The original has one of the worst cameras ever put in a videogame, your party members are idiots and the game controls really badly (come on, was it so difficult to implement camera control with right analog). The story was ok, nothing incredible, but nothing to criticize either, it just got ruined by a very poor gameplay (actually, not gameplay, the idea is great, but the execution was really poor)

Move on to the second, and you have a game that fixes every single flaw of the first. Camera control, at last. This fix alone makes it infinitely better than the first game for me. More intelligent party members, perfect controls. Skippable cutscenes! Plus, they added the drives that are simply amazing. The new more complex story fits the game really well too.
So, in all, KH2 is everything the first should have been, and more, much more

This is one of the major reasons why I couldn't stand KH1, I would keep dying on a certain boss and everytime I would have to watch that long ass cutscene again. I still enjoyed the game, but I think Kingdom Hearts 2 is better.

Yeah, I can't count the number of times I watched the scene pre-Ansem fight. And it wasn't even me playing (I had already given up on the game), it was my bro...

Noob, I beat him on my first try. For some reason whenever it looked like I'd die, I always got healed. It was crazy. It was basically impossible to lose the battle for some reason because I'd always get healed really quickly. Hated Riku's third battle though.

OT: No idea so won't vote.

Died on the easiest Ansem battle for some odd reason. The one with Donald and Goofy allying you and Ansem attached to that thing... and I fucking died!

Hades Cup is pathetic, Sephiroth is holy shit difficult at level 45, insanely easy at 75. Riku III was easy as hell too.

In fact, Ansem IV was the only thing I died on except Cloud and Leon (though I didn't bother to use items since it wasn't required to win).

Opinion: KH2. Crapload of replay value (even more in Final Mix+ (which I reaaaaly wanna get)), and awesome combat system. KH1 was more difficult and more boring, but I loved the story. It was just so pure and sweet and sad. But unfortunately synthesis and Gummi sucked beyond doubt but I loved the optional bosses (even if Kurt and Phantom were really easy).

I will never leave you

I will never be able to tell you because i am simply in love with everything about both games. I died alot agaisnt the bosses too but i loved watching the cut scences over and over again.

Still love watchin the opening to KH1&KH2. At first i could care for the game thought it looked terrible and stupid. Man did my world change when my brother started playing it. Loved everything about the first game! Yes the camera was annoying but i loved the exploring and everything you could do in KH1.

KH2....just out standing ya some phrases were childish but overal this game kicked some ass. Loved EVERY Boss fight!!! All the combos and specials were amazing! Drives....they just OMG made everything so much better on top of it being better!!! I didnt like how you could explore as much and how short towns/levels were compared to KH1.

Loved both stories. I just cant compare the two. Im madly in love with them both!

Kingdom Hearts 1 was just simply amazing and it provided far more of a challenge. Also it's plot was simple and enjoyable to play through. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with KH2 (Except Aerith's voice). My only issue was that it oversimplified the battle system with the ridiculous reaction commands and at the same time made the plot far more complicated than I would think necessary.

Currently playing: Marvel vs. Capcom 3, League of Legends

KH1 - For gameplay (I mean, the battle system had far more potential, as seen in the Sephiroth battle, 2 system was just to mash on X)

KH2 - For everything else.
