Of course, if you take the Wall Mart deal into consideration and also that 1,000,000 360s were banned in America by Micorsoft, it's surprising that 360 didn't outsell PS3 by a lot more in the United States.

If it was: PS3 800k vs X360 700k there would be probably like 5 threads about how X360 is doomed, but when it's the oposite PS3-spambots go out and "it's only US" or "who cares PS3 WW outsold it" etc.

but there is already 5 thread about NPD numbers claiming 360 is dominating and forgetting the Wallmart deal or the MW2 bundle ...

They're starting to push the 360 pretty hard in Canada now (bundling it with TVs and pressing home the $100 price difference between the lowest priced 360 and PS3 SKUs). If the same is happening in the US I wouldn't be surprised to see the PS3 outsold in December as well.

If the 360 wouldnt outsell the PS3 in NA(monthly),the WW gap would be gone before you know it

So NPD's numbers are:

360: 819.5k
PS3: 710.4k

While VGC's are (taking 10% off to make it USA only):

360: 724.5k
PS3: 756k

So according to NPD, VGC overtracked the PS3 by 6% and undertracked the 360 by 12%. Not as big a difference to make VGC wildly inaccurate.
