Quite sad the people in here actually getting upset with a PR statement, I suggest you reassess the importance an international company actually has to your life.

u cant underestimate the GT franchise...but u cant also underestimate the Halo franchise...going be a tough fight...

I've been saying this to everyone time after time. Sadly, I can't reach my voice out to the masses...

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

So...if Halo Reach does turn out to be the biggest title next year...is Greenburg a genius?

lol - I don't think stating what is apparently Halo 4 in all but name has a good chance of being biggest seller in a year takes that much IQ.

Still, looking at some Wii titles and GTAIV, etc. he could well be wrong if a big multiplatform or Wii titles is a big success, as either combination would appear to have a solid chance of outperforming a Halo title.

Now, if he annouced some new IP based on Natal, said that would be the most popular, and it was, then I'd be impressed.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I like Greenberg but his sarcastic comment about GT5 dev time was very nasty lol. Especially as MS has plans to push Alan Wake very hard, a game that has been 6 years in development if it releases in Srping 2010, according to 1Up.

"1UP: If my math is correct, when the game [Alan Wake] ships in spring 2010, you guys will have worked on it for six-plus years. In retrospect, how surprising is it that it took that long?

SL: [Declined to answer, other than to say "see response to next question."]"

So Greenberg is a big hypocrite lol.

Halo Reach very well could sell more in the US next year but world wide I doubt. Must say I'm not that surprised with the 360 taking the US last month. I wonder which will take it this month.

Thats just the point. Halo Reach doesn't need the rest of the world. Other people around the world will buy it though. America will carry 85% of the sales most likely.

HAHAHA... he said that PS3 had a "slight" increase and that the marketshare is already stabalizing.... Has he not been keeping up with sales data LoL?... PS3 is catching up quickly. I would consider that more than a "slight" increase. Dont be a sore loser Greenburg.

Wait until the PS3 sales slow down after December. I would love to see the look on your face. GT is coming out in the summer now, so sales are going to slow down in the beginning of the year.

Sales slow down for everyone after Christmas. Thats not surprising.... The key is keeping them above your competition by releasing exclusives. Halo Reach will be a big one but so will God of War 3 and GT5.

Can you clarify what exactly makes you a proud member of the loyalty free gaming movement?
