PS3 should have won by a greater margin in my opinion.

Don't forget the Falcon chips, though.  Everyone was yelling how they would fix the problem, but when RROD started going up again MS had to use another chip.  I really don't understand why a company has to use 3 seperate chipsets AFTER launch to fix a problem.  It should have been recalled and worked out fully.  I just hate how MS got away with a 33-56% failure rate.  It's just not right for the costumer or the business in general.  Let's just hope they finally got their shit together.

Just got done watching it. Pretty fair. Though I think that PS3 should have scored a little higher in the online round. Only real argument I have, though, is he should really have done some research on the PS3. I mean come on, it takes like 1 min online to find out that the Slim can play PS1 games. Also glad that he gave a slight advantage to PS3 for graphics.

Did they talk about Hardware Reliability? I watched it from N4G but I forgot about it. If they didn't then wtf?

They didn't even talk about future games coming next year. Also for the "DLC" part, they didn't talk about PixelJunk or Super Stardust HD and Geometry Wars :|. CNet still seems bias to me.

What i don't agree with is the games given decisively to the 360, it's clear these guys are biased.

And two of the 3 guys say the graphics on the 360 and the PS3 are equal, I don't understand how you can come to that conclusion if you've played U2 or KZ2, you'd at least score the ps3 slightly higher.

And Facebook and twitter are something but home is not worth mentioning...

Hardware reliability is conveniently left out of the discussion.

They tried to give it to the 360 they really did, I'm sure they will next time.

And to criticise some more:

they did not even balanced the categories. Xbox360 had the better games and the better online gameplay. That is the main point a gaming machine is built for!

PS3 won features, does that equals the better games the Xbox 360 has? I don't think so.

And they did not mention that there currently is no Xbox 360 Elite that does not come with two full games. On the other side there is currently no PS3 that does come with a game (except for Black Friday bundles). Check Amazon.com

Yeah, all sounded fair and reasonable until he said "No backwards compatibility AT ALL" He really laboured the "at all". Factually incorrect statement therefore the score relating to that statement (Games was it?) is possibly lower for PS3 than it should be if what he said in the summary is what all the judges actually based their scores on. We don't know that for sure though.

Interesting that 360 wins for game quantity, but game quality is pretty much even with the edge going to PS3. Given PS3 quantity is pretty good now it would seem quantity arguments aren't really of much relevance any more.

It will be interesting for them to do a Wand vs. Natal prize fight but give it at least 6 months after Natal launches.

And the 360 does so well in the gaming side of things cause it can't do anything else at all tbh.

I liked the PS1 cause it could play CD's :) I didn't get that on my N64

I liked the PS2 cause it could play DVD's :) The Gamecube couldn't even have discs that size and tbh I was not going to spend an extra $30 on the DVD pack for the original Xbox.

The fact that PS3 can play blu ray's and if you have the technical know how and the money to cluster PS3's and use them for processing are two things the 360 will never be able to do over the PS3.

But in regards to games,just because xbox has a lot of games doesn't mean their the best.PSN is more about quality than quantity which is why they don't pump out more and more shovelware.

And as far as premium disc based games go,it's the same.You want quantity? 360.

You want quality? Playstation 3.

I think we can all safely agree,that both consoles are ten times the machine that the shovelware infested Wii is.

ps3 does have ps1 backwards compatibility, i still play a ton a ps1 games, and it mentions fallout 3 dlc.....which is also on the ps3, its getting there though the ps3 is finally getting the credit it deserves.
