it deserve to sell more, but demographic isn't supporting it

Yes, the Wii audience is finally sick of shitty spinoffs and "tests".  Bring the real thing (like MoHun, Tales or Musou did) or don't bother.

More like a niche group that knows nothing about the games is talking out of their asses. I WANTED this game for years now. It isn't a spinoff, and it has a larger budget than probably all of the previous games comibined. I guess some people just want them to port a downgraded version of FFXIII though....

Oh, I think CCCB looks infinitely more interesting than FFXIII.  And as an ARPG nut, I'm pretty sure I'll like it more.  But c'mon, it's a spinoff of a spinoff, it's not actually an RPG, it was launching less than a month ahead of FFXIII and even it's producer was saying it was gonna flop... the writing was on the wall for this one.  It's too bad, but no one should be surprised.

And make no mistake, MH3's budget likely dwarfed it by orders of magnitude.

Although I wouldn't mind seeing how Vanille looks on the Wii (since the girls in Crystal Bearers look pretty good).

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I think the game would've sold better if it had multiplayer, tbh.

It'd have sold better if it was just straight up 4 player FFCC2.  Minus the bucket.

Seriosuly though, Wii's like THE local multiplayer console this gen, and a traditional FFCC would've suited that perfectly.  Not to mention riding Mario 4player coattails.  If this happened it'd probably be 150k+ by now rather than 50k-.

Well they started the game well before it was clear multiplayer would be a selling point for loads of games. Plus a new game would have access to Motion+, which would make the battles even more awesome.

I think there is a very good chance now that this game will flop. Game Informer gave it an absolutely horrible review (5.5 out of 10.. worse than Famitsu) and the hype level actually seems to be going DOWN on this title the closer it gets to being released.

Game Informer is not the be all, end all certainly but there have been no good reviews of this game yet.

^^ Has GI given anything this year on the Wii above a 6?

I think SE should just makes Tales of FF XIII on the Wii with 4 player co-op. So basically, a new FF XIII game different from the main one, Agito, and Versus and have it be co-op and a Tales like battle system would work. And keep it as high quality for Wii standards as those other FF XIII games are high quality for their respective platforms. Also market it right and don't ignore it and it would sell a ton.

Please don't insult the FF franchise by linking it to Tales of soriku......FF Haeresis 13 should be for Wii, it should be turn based like FF10, not like FF7 or 9 or 8....FF10's battle system was amazing

{gallops away on his dog}

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

to answer the your question in the threads title, i think it depends on how good the game is really

....There was multiplayer back in the SNES Final Fantasies

Just imagine the sales it would have had if it didn't have the FF name on the box...wouldn't be much I think.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)
