I bought a 60GB PS3 today. Previously I had the Xbox 360 Elite. It started to give me problems simple fact. It started to give me these wierd grinding noises near the disc tray and the power brick fan was running high then low. And I started to get worried. I didn't want to go through Microsoft since I never had to do that with the PS1, PS2 or the PSP. So what makes you think I will go through a company because there product is bad. So I traded in:

Xbox 360 ElitePlug and ChargeHalo 3Tom Clancy Rainbow Six VegasMadden NFL 08Tomb Raider: LegendFableAnd the total was $380So I took $90 out of my pocket and got the used 60GB PS3 and got a Gamestop warranty. Then condition by the way was outstanding, like no one has used it yet. Scratch free and beautiful.Anyway, I bought Resistance: Fall of Man (at Gamestop) and a HDMI cable (at Radio Shack), Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Best Buy). Came home, plugged everything up and it started new, programmed settings and its beautiful.I'm back with my Playstation Family, no more worries of system failures.

Congratulations, it really is a fantastically built machine, despite the negative press.

Have fun with Resistance (You bought it in time for the new patch, which comes out this week I believe), and I'd highly suggest going out and getting Ratchet and Clank Future.

Yeah, whatever, I got tired of that game quick anyway. I was at Level 20 and was a Captain. The game for me got old. Have fun with Halo 3. I'm finished with it.

Thanks, I do understand with the negative press, but thats them not me. As long as I enjoy the PS3 I don't have any problems with it. I'm even thinking about getting Folklore and Enchanted Arms. I like those games, they look fun, considering Enchanted Arms is $18 now.
