Yes but riding your own ride was kind of an old concept. It was already used in games like Sim Theme Park and Sim Coaster.

I'll use this as an explanation of why I didn't like RCT3
RCT3 allowed you to ride rides, yes. I was very excited, but then I found it came at a cost. The simplicity of building stuff went away. I could not build roller coasters with a tenth of the excitement and complexity as the previous two games. This took away the fun of riding rides. The lack of emphasis if completing objectives made it feel too "sandbox" like. I know it's good to have a sandbox mode for the creative, but there was no challenge and monitering.
Hopefully, there will be a game that has the rideing your rides and custumization of RCT3, along with the challenges and simplicity of RCT2, and most importaintly, the magic of RCT.
So i take it no one has played new york city tycoon then?
Honestly its kinda good you know. You should check it out
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st
I never really liked Roller Coaster tycoon but I could appreciate it and see why people did like it. Not my cup of tea.
I do like Zoo Tycoon though.
Pixel Art can be fun.
My favourite were Theme Park and Transport Tycoon. Lost countless hours on those games!

This.
A game I'm developing with some friends:
www.xnagg.com/zombieasteroids/publish.htm
It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
I liked the first and second ones even if the second one was more of a combination of content from the first game and expansions.
The third one however......... I received it as a gift the year it came out and I've only played it a handful of times.
