Worldwide, it should easily be higher than the 360 version by Jan and should outsell the 360+PS3 versions combined before the end of 2010.

937 k first week.

That´s at the high end of my first prediction (750-950k) and at the low end of my second (very hyped!) prediction (900-1100k). I finally guessed 950 k so I was damn close =)

All in all awesome sales!

Thats a bold prediction ioi! higher than 360 version of MW2 by jan 2010. I'd say more like march-april, thast when the legs will really look strong compared to MW2

That 2.2 million you have for NSMB doesn't include the million it just sold in Japan.

Just be patient, it'll outsell Modern Warfare 2 soon enough... :)

yes it does thats y i say it has to sell another 3mill and not 4mill in that time period and mw2 360 has to sell none

nsmb has to outsell 360 mw2 ww by about 380k a week to beat it in 8 weeks

it has to outsell both mw2s by about 190k a week in order to beat them both by end of 2010

Last year, CoD5 sold ~2.4mil between Dec & Jan. If we assume MW2 sells a bit more (3 2.7mil), 360 MW2 will be at ~9mil by the end of Jan.

NSMB (DS) in Japan sold ~2.3mil in its first 2 months in Japan. Due to releasing in the holiday season, I think it's reasonable to say NSMBWii will make at least 2mil there by February.

That would mean the rest of the world needs ~4.8mil sales from Dec & Jan. It might be a stretch, but not impossible - 2.3 million in Americas (MK did over 1.6m) and 2.5 million in Others (MK did 1.7m). I'm assuming NSMB Wii is a big hit, and it sells faster than MK Wii due to being a recent release (and a larger userbase).

I'm guessing it overtakes it by the end of March, mainly because it's hard for me to believe that NSMB Wii can pull off these numbers (though it very well may). Can you imagine how crazy it'd be if NSMB Wii manages 3 weeks, maybe 4 above 1 million (week ending 5th, 12th, 19th, with 26th possible), that would be insane...
