I'm not an enormous fan of the Final Fantasy Franchise, but it's important enough to me that it's one of the few I generally buy games in in their first week of release. That said, I absolutely love the music in it, and FFIX especially is one of my favorite video game soundtracks ever and one of my favorite games of all time. With FFXIII only months away from western release we are seeing a lot of music from that game as well, so which FF song is your favorite?

It's a no brainer (for me).

The FFX battle music, I can still hear it in my head most of the time, though maybe not when I am playing CoD, but in most other games

My favourite song(s) of FF always change.  It depends on how I feel.



But two songs I really love a lot are this two:   I broke up with my GF then and I really felt alone, and really felt worthless

And then I fell in love with Nobuo <3.

A FF game without Nobuo is simply not a FF game for me.

Nothing beats Aria di Mezzo Caratere for me :) It still brings a shiver down my spine every time I hear this song and see this part of FFVI.

All of these are really good, and now that i think about it you can't really pick "just one".

In my opinion the music department of Final Fantasy XII is the only one that has really let me down, however i did not play XI so i do not know about that one.
