and yet it will still be on shelves in 3 years... so.... unlike the other money loss consoles the ps3 is actually a viable platform for the devs and consumers... how is this a blunder?

nice boost for the game! deserves it! also good sales for Uncharted 2, Infamous, and Demon souls.

EDIT: I'd wish SEGA would bring VC2(possibly/maybe VC3) back to the home console

btw: why when any Sony positive news comes out or is posted it always turn into"well Sony is still losing money" I saw no mentioning of Sony and their money problems in the thread title of from the creator of the thread.

Here's two things SEGA could do:

1) Add trophies
2) Greatest Hits Edition

It would have more chances of reaching 1 million.

Sadly, the no trophies reason was why I got the game just recently. I know longer let trophies cloud a purchase though!

I couldn't resist the 20$ price though, AMAZING deal!

Both could potentially happen. Considering the kind of buzz this game receives, I can't see why they wouldn't.

Yup trophies could happen. I would see it happening around the release of Valkyria Chronicles 2.

I don't know about Greatest Hits though...

Its already got the best (greatest hits in japan) edition and i'm not sure if it will sell enough to get the greatest hits title in NA. there are sales goals for those games.

I really hope this game can leg it to 1 million. I'm hoping it's somewhere around 750k-800k by the end of the year.

Based on wikipedia:

On July 28th, 2008, the program was introduced on the PlayStation 3. A PlayStation 3 game must be on the market for 10 months and sell at least 500,000 copies to meet the Greatest Hits criteria.

Eh, it doesn't matter if it's Greatest Hits or not. It's at least $30 everywhere in the US and $20 at some places (Walmart).

I expect sales to come to a huge slow as chains are going to stop carrying the title (as WalMart has already done)
