The point is. So many people that say that are lying, and even if your not its anecdotal evidence. One persons experiences cannot be extrapolated to the whole population.

My brothers wii has broken down like 5 times compares to my 360 thats 3 years old and only broke for the first time this week. But that doesn't mean I think the wii has a worse failure rate. It just means that I've been lucky and my brothers been unlucky.

obviously there are still way too many xbox's being broken here and there. but its nice to see microsoft working on the solution as time goes on. =]

good to hear hopefully they will have an alan wake specail edition 360 so i can buy the new jasper chips i am still using a falcon.

now the sales of xbox360 will fall because they stop breaking lol

thats good news, so when I finally buy mine, my hot ass room won't suffocate it (seriously, it's like a sauna in here. I often fear my PS3 will give out when I play for more than an hour).

I thought about lolling, and then I did.

However, from what I've seen in this thread so far, 360 owners for some reason will go out and buy another console to play the same games.
