It's great new for me because I can now buy a 360 without worrying about the RROD but I am still gonna wait for the inevtibale Pricecut and the Valhalla models because I don't want to have an another buying regrets. Damn! the slim and the pricecut should have wait.

certainly helps the case to buy a 360 the failure rate kinda turned me of but i geuss getting a jasper 360 means i should be ok



While i dont doubt its made vast improvements, they took a sample of 500 units for their sub 1% rate. Id like to see how they came to their 4% and what the sample size is because even as far as general electronics go thats below normal if im not mistaken.

Im almost positive based on my personal experiences and my friends and coworkers families the 360 failure rate at this point is almost assuredly right in line with normal electronics, good on MSFT.
