I really dislike the character models.
The faces are pretty well done, but the clothes look really horrible.

I would say "some" of the clothes look horrible. At random intervals they look really nice, the leader of the Dalish Elves robes threw me off with how nice they looked actually. Really the mage robes in general are pretty good, but the armor is terrible.

I should have boughten the 360 version. It came with the Mass Effect armor. I went to pick up the 360 version next thing I knew my mom was in the checkout with the PS3 version :(

I wonder if the colors are really like that or if they decided to turn on RGB full just for this comparison :P

The main reason this is significant is that this is Bioware's first PS3 attempt and it looks very good. See what talent does?

*looks at Valve*

For something 3-4 years into the generation and has worse graphics than oblivion, I don't think that's saying much...  They'd probably have been better off focusing resources on just one game, and making it look better.  Kinda like how Mass Effect is an exclusive MS game as well as Mass Effect 2 and those games looks amazing.  Mass Effect 2 is absolutely jaw dropping!

*looks at Valve*  Yep, they do it right

I think I know the fight you're talking about, if so, I dropped a blizzard and a tempest on their heads, ran out of the room and watched XP pop up over my head. Mages rule!

I missed out on all the fun y'all had going in this thread, damn.

@Common: Question, when you pause the game on the PC version, can you give orders to multiple players?

On the 360, if you pause and then select any spell/ability for any character, it immediately begins the game with the character taking that action.  If you want to give another character an order you have to pause again.

@silicon, don't get me wrong I'm enjoying it on the 360 (sure the PS3 controls are identical) I just think it would be better with more options for the larger, strategic battles.

Yeah I think so too... I was considering getting the PC version along with the PS3 version for more replay value + the campaign editor.

PS3 version is better than the 360 version but the PC version wins in the end

You can pause the action in the PC version, and you have this nice isometric view too. I kind of want to get it, I'm actually playing on the 360 version as well, you just have to practice a lot and be quick on the triggers. I can cast all of my spells before the cooldown on cone of cold is over. I may be a n00b when it comes to teh boom-headshot, but I can whup some major ass on the RPG's.
