Forums - Gaming Discussion - Lens of Truth: Dragon Age Origins Analysis

Finally, an analysis of Dragon Age Origins for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. I was suprised at how close the colors were when left default, Bioware did a great job matching the two systems. Even though the PlayStation 3 version was the winner (based on graphics and loading) I am not sure if I would trade the performance for graphics. What do you guys think?

I think PS3 = Mass effect is looking likely ?

Dragon Age Origins on PS3 is the best console version confirmed.

Isn't that what this whole site (the forum part at least) is about?

Load times on my xbox are negligible because I did an install, I never even get to read the little blurbs on the loading screens.

I like how the second opinions still say X360.

It wouldn't be surprising if it was better one the PS3 because it's probably easier to move AI to multiple processors, and at times there's a ton of enemies, plus your own guys.

This game should be played on PC regardless. It feels like it was designed to be played like Baldurs Gate.

On the 360 this game is a lot of of fun...sucks hours from my life, like no other game since Fallout 3.

That being said, if I had to buy it again, I'd but the PC version; the top down view would make the battles much more interesting/tactical I think.
