+DMC feel to it

+main character is super hott (and there is nudity =p)

+the game is nice on the eyes (graphics are great)

+combos are easy to learn, hard to master

-no enemy variety *might change with full game

-imo L3 should be dodge *like in gow* but i can get used to it

 

overall the demo was damn good, its a first day buy for me, only thing that worries me is the story, the presentation was nice *film strips/clips*.

It was very great. And yes, it felt a lot like Devil May Cry.

Judging by both demos, I have to say:

Bayonetta > GoW III

I got it off the JP PSN a couple weeks back and although it was fun, I almost never knew what was going on, there was just too much clutter and flash. All I did was mash buttons and everything died, but it was fun to watch at least.

Let's not start any comparisons between this and a game that wasn't even released yet.

I think the demo was good. I think the game will be much better, because a game like this has a ton of depth that requires multiple playthroughs of an entire game to delve into, and you can't really tell anything the level of depth from the demo. You can tell that the game is fairly deep, however, and that it is fun to play.

There is little doubt that this game will be at least above average. Let's just hope it turns out to be a megaton, instead of just another good game.

Well, we sure can, but I was hoping not to do it because it starts flamewars, not because it's an invalid comparison. :P

Bayonetta's demo was the best third person action game of its kind I have ever played. And that was just the demo.

its hugely impressive. The game offers so many ways to attack that its really worth sticking ith the demo tutorial.

Once you find something that works you can stick with it till you get bored then you can try something else.

Its a huge feat to have a game this chaotic be this controlable.

Day 1 buy.
