Media Create has published the latest hardware sales figures from Japan. The results are below.

DSi LL – 67,243
Wii – 46,673
PS3 – 46,558
PSP – 38,839
DSi – 37,021
DS Lite – 7,268
PSP go – 3,809
Xbox 360 – 3,685
PS2 – 2,057

For comparison’s sake, here are the numbers from November 9 (last week).

how can difference between Famitsu and Media Crate be this big?
Either way i bet VGC takes Famitsu numbers in their report for weekly sales....

What? numbers from last week say Nov. 9th and the current numbers are from 11/23-11/29. I think you might want to put numbers from the 16th in instead of from the ninth for a better comparison,

Usually there's a bit of variance between Famitsu and MC but how often is the difference this big? Even DSi LL is significantly different.

Does Media Create normally favour PS3? There is basicallly a statistically insignificant gap between Wii and PS3 here. But for Famitsu it is a reasonable gap.
