my predictions are:

final fantasy will sell better then GOW and Gran in japan.

Gran will sell better then GOW and FF13 in Europe.

GOW3 will sell better then Gran and FF13 in America.

 what does everyone think about those predictions?

FF10 sold 2.7 Million in NA

FF7 sold 3.1 Million in NA

I see FF13 doing 3 - 4 Million in NA alone (remember this is PS360 combined)

GOW 2 sold around 1.8 Million in NA.....GOW 1 around 2.7 Million

I see GOW 3 doing around 1.8 - 2.5 Million in NA.....so BEATEN by Final Fantasy

GT5 should so 2.5 - 3 million in NA

..In that case GoW3 will sell like 3.5 in NA, and GT5 4m :O
(Since you always seem to underestimate PS3 exclusives :P )

I would expect it to sell 2.8 on the combined consoles, the success of FF7 isn't relative to the success of the brand, since it didn't only attract the RPG crowd, but also graphic lovers, and also a lot of other pepole who haven't heard of the brand before, and disliked the game (thus the difference in sales between FF7 and FF8)

Also - I don't think that  Peacewalker will come in March WW, only in Japan.

FF13 will do the same, in fact it will attract a bigger audience

that is FF13's aim

all S-E need to do is air the final CGI cut scenes from the last FF13 trailer we got on TV's worldwide & FF13 will sell tons & tons

FF13 won't be able to outdo FF7, it was a NEW brand at that time, thus it attracted pepole who wouldn't play the game if they knew about what it was, or the genre.
By this point in time, Final Fantasy is one of the biggest brands of gaming in the world, and 95% of the "core" gamers know about it, thus FF13 can't have the same effect that FF7 once had.



Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Was this confirmed for NA/EU or just Japan? ...my March is already packed with SSF4, GoW3, RE5:GE, FFXIII now this? GT5 is for Japan so i wont have to worry about that yet *phew

...isnt there like WKC and Yakuza releasing around that time too or am I like mixing up NA and Japan dates?

HAHAHAHA! Your obsession with this game has blinded you. FF is NOT popular enough in this day and age to sell 10 million. If you expect 10 million then you are in for a HUGE dissapointment.

Realistically i would predict 6-7 million worldwide. It will outsell XII but not X.
