I'm counting only one platform. So yes, Halo 3 is the King.

Also, a Metroid Online with Mii support and Wii Speak would be a blast.

Steroid what are you doing up at this time?!

I am not that user. Don't start the tr0o0o0oll wars (8)

How is Metroid Other M not a big-hit Nintendo-styled FPS developed with a blue ocean strategy?

If you mean a Wii Sports-esque adventure in the style of Nerf N-Strike where there are no puzzles and the objective is just to shoot people, it would probably not go over very well for Nintendo. Parents see shooting games as not good for children in any form and aren't just going to buy them for their young children. On the other hand, adults and teenagers wouldn't want those games because of their childish nature. In effect, the game wouldn't sell well even if designed with everyone in mind.
Even Metroid gets less than amazing sales, and as such, a dumbed down Miitroid wouldn't sell very well either.

I'm not a fanboy, I just don't enjoy dual analog control.  It's d-pad or wii-mote for me.

the conduit has changed the way wii play games.

I know.  I'm sick of the puns too.

What about a paintball game Wii Sports Style?

With Mii's, clean visuals, intuitive simple controls and online similar to Mario Kart and Wii Speak?

Mario Paintball, in the theme of the Mario Sports series. It might sell greater than the other Mario Sports games, but I don't think it would eclipse the sales bar set by Halo 3.

Because sidescrolling platformers aren't first-person shooters?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Yeah, Duckhunt Wii on Wuhu Island with Mii and Zapper support, bring it on! :D

Nintendo Network ID: Cheebee   3DS Code: 2320 - 6113 - 9046

yea duck hunt lol, thats probably as close as it gets to a casual FPS :)

@ cheebee

Wuhunt? =D

It would be totally cool if they made a mario FPS; imagine mario and that other guy in an online only FPS (that way they will not need a story). Nintendo could use all the characters they are so famous for (princess peach, Bowser, Starfy, link); they could also use power ups like those tortoise shells as grenades. 8 vs 8 multiplayer running at 30 fps online with a leader board and a new head set peripheral. I would buy a Wii for that game (I currently have the mario mod for UT3 so you know I would buy this game).

Wii Paintball

With the little Mii's running around getting shot with paintballs
