thats it ,I'm cursed this is the second time that the powers gone out during an endurance race.

went to bed  last night almost 7 hrs into the Lemans 24 hr ,got up this morning to see the clock radio  flashing and showing 2.24am turns out some one had hit a power pole hopefully they are alright but there goes 7hrs down the drain.

The race started in fine weather until the 3hr mark when the rain set in and stayed that way to  the 6hr45m mark when it started to ease managed to set my best lap on lap 32 when i was fortunate enough to get two good drafts on the first straight and reached 400k my best before and after that was 380k so that was good luck and i managed a 3min 10.954 sec  almost 5 seconds better than any other lap,the game gives me heaps of respect for Sebastion Bourdais 3m19.711 free run time  in the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP the same car i used .i think i will gather myself and leave it to the weekend before trying again. one last thing racing at night really shows off PD's lighting the only thing i found is it is better to use low rather than high beam

Oh man, I'm really sorry that you had those power cuts

That's what I was always dreading when I was doing that endurance, especially near the final hours. It's a real shame that PD haven't given us an option to save during the 24H endurances. Heck even the official Le Mans 24H game had that save option.

Wow, pretty amazing lap you did there! How much power does the 908 HDi FAP has? That lap really urges me to buy one to try it out, but I must resist the temptation, since I'm almost halfway into buying the last 20M car.

Yeah, I found it kinda odd that the High beam really isn't that high at all. I didn't use low beams, did it improve visibility?

The difference between high and low beam is high beam tends to light up the track side above the fence line shining into the trees etc where as low beam lights up the verge giving you a better view of the immediate track edges so the difference is height rather than strength the Peugeot is specced very similar to  to the Mazda i was very lucky where i came across the draft cars

But those max speeds you were hitting with the HDi are almost impossible to reach with the Mazda, without seriously screwing lower gear relations and giving you crappy acceleration, due to it's 5-gear setup.

Which is also the only complain I've got against the 787b. Amazing handling and acceleration. Pretty short 5th gear >_<.

How many laps advantage did you have at the 7 hours you were in?

i was talking in max HP terms  i loaded it to 920 odd hp,i was 3 laps ahead of the second place Bentley 8 and 4 laps on the lower end of the field ,i really wish the XJR 9 LM Jaguar was Premium that always seems to go well in races i will buy the standard when it pops back up

Did you give it some tuning to reach 920 bhp? My non-tuned 6787b, reaches 831 bhp with an oil change (new engine due to engine overhaul).

Yeah, it's a shame that most of the iconic Class C/LMP cars aren't premium . I would really love to drive the Peugeot 905, XJR9 LM Jaguar, Sauber C9, Bentley 8, Toyota GT-One and Audi R8 in their cockpit views.

Yep Tuned it's ass off stage 3 everything was going to leave it standard with just an oil change but decide that if it was going to cost me a million to fix it after the race i might as well Tune it's ass off and hope the extra Power body stiffness counteracts the degradation a bit so i can use it for a lot of races without paying up

So I've made 10million in the last 36hours :D, I was wondering if I should buy an R8 or R10 race car..... any tips? In other news I really hate this UCD, I dont know when I'll find what I want like the Speed 8 or R92CP. >_> oh and lestat my lap was 39.xxx with the GT-One, close to 40 secs, with the MINOLTA I managed the low 40s but never got below it.

Don't buy the Audi R10 TDI Race Car, it's probably the worst Class C/LMP car in the game. Not only is it really weak in total power, it has a tendency to oversteer at the slightest touch of the accelerator. The R8 should be a better option.

I dislike the UCD as well, thankfully the deals on the online UCD are good most of the times. You should wait for tomorrow's update to the Seasonal Events/Online UCD to see what they add, before spending that money.

39.xxx is pretty good with a Class C car, with the MINOLTA I only achieved 40.120 as my best lap.

In other news, in a couple of days (with my current progression on B-Spec), i'm going to have an extra X2010 Sebastian Vettel Red Bull Livery car on my garage, as I'll probably hit level 35 this weekend.

My current list of duplicate cars due to extra prizes are as follow:

- Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car '02 (got an extra from the Gift 1000 ticket)
- Ford GT40 Race Car '69 (got an extra from Gift Ticket Level 21)
- Lexus IS-F Racing Concept '07 (Prize from Nürburgring 4H B-Spec, I had bought one for the DTM championship as I didn't knew about this prize).

And will add the X2010 Sebastian Vettel to that list. I'm willing to trade those cars with anyone who has a car that he/she wants to trade (NON DUPE!).
