Wow, i used to complain about PS3 fans, but after this thread, i'd say mac fanatics are the worst.

Windows 7 has it all. Suck it up.

All fanatics are the same dude, none are better than other.

There are MS fans that will just as willingly give up their lives for the cause.

Just because you you probably support MS (based on what I've read) you are obviously blinkered so can't see the "just as bad" MS fanatics

around you.

Take note of your own sig. That's a fact.

OT: Why this is news is amazing. With Windows 95% or whatever marketshare anyone with half a brain could have figure this out.

For me, with the consoles, I used to rip on PS3 a lot until I got one.  It makes me wonder if I really didn't like the PS3 before or if I just subconsciously wanted one.  At the moment, I have a 360 and a PS3 and I love the hell out of both of them.

But with Mac vs. PC, there is no bone in my body that wants to compute on OSX.  I have to use my wife's Macbook from time to time and I just can't stand OSX.  So it's not for lack of owning one or being envious of people who do.  I just hate them.  What pisses me off is that Mac zealots always like to tell me I don't like them because I'm not using them right or that I've never given them a fair try.  That couldn't be further from the truth.  Some of us just DON'T LIKE MACS!!!

I think the biggest takeaway from Famousringo's chart is that the big winners are mobile phones - Mac OSX grew 10% this year while phones grew over 100%.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

VISTA < OSX < WINDOWS 7 - simple as that

God i hate fanboys, almost as much as they hate facts

I just hope by the time XP extended support expires MS will have been able to release an OS that leaves free at least 80% of the average memory mounted on mid-range PC's. It's not so difficult, it means that if in 2014 an average PC will mount 16GB, Windows (7+N) will have to eat at most 3.2GB, am I asking too much? BTW this would also mean that some current PC with 8GB RAM limit could be upgraded without changing mobo, just adding RAM up to their max, as they'd still have almost 5GB free for programs.

I have 8 GB of ram in my machine, and my motherboard can support up to 16 GB. Hopefully, OS's won't get too memory heavy as I want to make this computer run any new programs and OS's as fast as it can for the next however many years.

Vista sold like 50 million, know why?
microsoft discountinued XP, for business as well.
People forced to buy Vista even for downgrade license.
PC manufacturers forced to get vista
vista does not bad even though it's not good.
Step 4: Profit!
