I was totally unintersted in this game and then someone here posted a link for a chance at a beta code. I got myself a code and tried out this game.

I must admit that at first I found the graphics very underwhelming, but the gameplay truly shined for me. Now I am accustomed to the graphics and to be honest, they really don't look bad at all, especially for a game with large scaled battles like seen in Domination mode, 128 vs 128.

I am now seriously giving this game a second thought and even though I previously couldn't fit it into my gaming budget for 2010, I think I may just skip out on lunch for a couple weeks at work and try to save up a few more bucks. This game is really fun. Zipper has done a fantastic job so far. I haven't had this much fun in an online shooter since Unreal Tournament III.

Anyone possibly picking this game up and/or enjoying the beta?

I don't know. What I'm hearing about constant updates up to 4 gigs is kinda turning me off.

I haven't played the beta, though. Maybe I shouldn't have posted :P

after playing it for an hour, I can say its the wost multiplayer game I have played on PSN, ofcourse I have played very good games, so that really means nothing: Warhawk, resistance , resistance 2, kz2, cod4 , and Uncharted 2.

the only issue with me is dat in the beta i can barely play because it takes 4ever to find 256 players so that might turn me off the game

i havent tried it, but all my friends who have say they are all getting it

Play Sabotage, I have games start up almost instantly. It also doesn't take me very long to get into Domination either, maybe 1-2 minutes.

I enjoy it much more than Killzone 2 btw.

My first update was 1.8GB and I haven't needed another one since. I have logged about 9 hours in so far.

If anything I would think that you would see an update every week or two. Supposedly they are good though seeing as how many say that the beta has come a LONG way since it first started.

I want to know what other game types there are. 32 vs 32 Sabotage is great fun and so is 128 vs 128 Domination, but this is only a portion of the game. O_o

I also noticed that Sabotage games have much more teamwork as well right now, probably because of the smaller size. It will take a while before Domination is on the same level. I doubt there are clans big enough yet, let alone people using mics.

Well I don't have the beta, but i've always thought the concept of the game was interesting. I might pick it up. Not sure yet. Would help me make up my mind if they release a demo :p

Nah the beta actually turned me off to the game and conformed everything that I was skeptical about.

Bad Company 2 is where things at now that was an awesome beta.
