Would it sell more if it was a port of a game which was on the wii before? :P I think that comparison makes perfect sense. It is the cod for this holiday season for each console.

You are evidently new here. I don't mean your post count, since you could be a former lurker.

You don't seem to get that when one game has a marketing blitz, and another does not, and they are both in a hit series, the marketed game is going to sell better.

So calling it fair just makes you look ignorant.

Most (or at the very least many) people don't care about the "politics" behind a game, they only care whether the game they are going to buy is a good one or not.

This week it outsold World At War's 7th week. And it's at 550K. Half a million in less than two months. After how this game was launched, that says something. And all those saying Mature games can't sell on the Wii, make it a good game, and it will sell.

It is pretty amazing how fast it reached 550k. Activision has to believe there is potential now.

Personally I might prefer the MW2 port to the Wii this X-mas over Treyarch's own SKU. Maybe.

Not bad for a massive fail. The online numbers jumped through the roof over the christmas period. Wonder how it will hold up over the next few weeks.

A 2 year old game re-released for the Wii and sells fairly well.

Somewhere around 250,000 I think. I haven't checked for a few days and my memory is fuzzy due the new baby, but I think it was 238,800 ish. I will have a look sometime soon and post an accurate number when I can unless I am beaten to it by someone else.

cod 4 wii= 550 000 not bad and it's not finished
