I think Sengoku Musou 3's really being held back by the platform to be honest. Looking at Monster Hunter G/3, I sort of think Koei should've taken a similar approach and quick-ported Sengoku Musou 1-2 to Wii (bundled together, like Musou Orochi 1-2/Z on PS3) six months ago to start building an audience. As is, I think the majority of Musou fans will probably just sit it out and wait for the inevitable 360/PS3/PS2/PSP ports. :/

On the other hand, it may attract enough Musou fans to Wii to start ensuring the platform starts getting ports of future titles too (ie: Hokuto no Ken Musou, Gundam Musou 3, Shin Sangoku Musou 7, Musou Orochi 3, Shin Sangoku Musou Multi-Raid 2, etc).  Really, this is something Koei should've started doing YEARS ago, but better late than never I guess...

Well said. I've said it before that Koei didnt do enough to build the SW audience on the Wii. They should've added more to the Wii library, especially since the series is already in decline. Capcom did well to build the MH audience but Koei couldnt follow that. Mind you it will do respectable numbers, but i was hoping at least 250k+ first week.

I also agree with that. I mean you can put big name games on there and expect some to jump over, but you need to give incentive as well and Koei didn't necessarily accomplish that. Bring the userbase over and build off the one you had... they did nothing to help that notion. While Capcom with MH did a great job and succeeded quite well in it and I expect more MH games to hit Nintendo platforms because of it.

Is there any update, Samus?

lol that sounds like.... Metroid =/

Yes here it is =)

Daily update 2/12 Final day of tracking:

NSMBW: 1072pt (+94)
NSMB: 688pt (+79)

There is the final numbers for the New Super Mario games. As you can see it looks mighty impressive for NSMBW and we will most likely be in for a fantastic first week sales.

I predict 900-1100 k for the week with around 450-600 k first day.

Top 10:

1. Final Fantasy XIII 1642 pt (+32)
2. New Super Mario Bros. Wii 1072 pt (+94)
3. Phantasy Star Portable 2 535 pt (+17)
4. Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep 423 pt (+5)

Y'know, Koei isn't exactly the greatest company. Their games are usually mediocre at best (like 5.6s out of 10 consistently). They just reuse that Warriors brand CONSTANTLY.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

So, Tales of Graces is at 307pt, 8 days before release. At the same point in time:

[PS3] Tales of Vesperia - 419pt (final day 483pt, 225k opening week)
[PSP] Tales of Versus - 313pt (final day 357pt, 144k opening)
[Xbox360] Tales of Vesperia - 189pt (final day 225pt, 106k opening)
[Wii] Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk - 342pt (final day 406pt, 156k opening)
[PS2] Tales of the Abyss - 1213pt (final day 1356pt, 378k opening)

The numbers on Abyss are... interesting. Probably not useful here.

Anyway, Tales of Graces isn't shaping up too good on this particular site (or whatever it is). I hope it does better than these numbers would lead us to believe...

Sorry for being off topic.

^^ it shows that the preorders are a gd indicator but not the best. And dont be sry that was useful there ;)

^Still a week to rise, and it may see some acceleration towards the end, ioi is predicting 250K first week
