people have to realize it is REALLY far from the casual crowd right now
but, to defend Natal, we are also far from the release date meaning it is expected that NO one outside game/tech lovers know it ...

2/ I dont understand how everybody can support whatever they want but how I can't say I prefer Sony over MS and so that I would rather see the 360 fail over the PS3
3/ whatever, that doesn't change what I think about Natal : very good potential, need good price + catchy game concept ... wait and see
4/ the only sad thing are people making bullshit prediction about Natal without knowing anything REAL from it .... that is sad ...

I pretty much agree with this. I'm bullish on Natal largely off Microsoft's track record, they've really become masters at dealing with and manipulating the industry media. I don't think it'll come close to Wii, but it'll probably help Microsoft regain their position post-slim.

Having the casual mainstream audience didn't keep the hardcore from buying PS2s... it also didn't drive them to PSP over DS.

Nah, people have both consoles. Im not gonna trafe my POS 360 in lol.
Natal won't succeed with the 360, but will end up being a natural interface device that no one will ever doubt come 20 years.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
natal will only produce casual games. it will sell mainly to existing 360 oweners, will boost console sales for 2-3 months - not for the rest of the generation.
What is everyone basing their love for Natal on? The only thing I've seen of Natal is that stupid ball ricochet game that makes anyone who plays it look like they're having a seisure and Milo which wasn't even playable. Is there something else on Natal that I've missed or is it all based on hype and word of mouth?
