You know, when Xbox didn't exist, there wasn't this kind of chat across boards, at least to this extent.

I fully Microsoft hardcore fanboys (I better not get banned for saying fanboys, it is directed to no one in this converstation)

But PS3 owners are just sick of their constant trash talk on the PS3. It started when the PS3 launched, thats when they started getting arrogant.

Don't get me wrong, some PS3 owners are the same, but I believe 360 owners started it. Not all 360 owners, obviously.

And thats my opinion, don't attack me, it's just from experience I have seen across forums which has lead me to believe this.

on topic, now that your online is clearly unmatched.........................do something next gen with it. mmo's, ded.servers, mod support, psn got it and it has crap online(right?). time to flex xbl, stop playing it safe and show us some true next gen experiences.

It is just amazing the crap MS come out with and the MS fanboys just suck it up. Having lost the console war and being unable to compete with the awesome graphics of ps3 exclusives, they talk BS to show they are doing great. Look at their hype of the crap, Natal. It is over for the xbox, they should retire.

My take on the whole PSN vs. XBL thing is that they are both almost the same fucking thing (minus cross game chat).

Both allow multiplayer for games.
Both can do certain social interactive games (1 vs. 100, Home etc.)
Both can download demos.
Both can download game add-ons.
Both can download past games/classics and new arcade games.


I mean, c'mon I use both quite a bit and they both do the same damn thing (again minus cross game chat).
How can one be vastly superior to the other?

● PS3 Exclusives actually have dedicated servers, then again.. Xbox 360 still has P2P for every game.

● We don't pay a cent after console purchase for online, unless its optional DLC, Qore, etc.

● Cross game chat? We're getting it soon enough.

● PSN is huge as well.

● Every console comes with a harddrive.. lol.

● Why would you want everyone to have a headset? So you can hear 11 year old kids yell when you kill them? No thanks, I like it how it is, you buy your own headset.

● Video Service, now we have Nexflix.

● How much money do you think M$ Paid Infinity Ward for DLC that we ALSO get?

XBL really doesn't have much over PSN, except for your little cute cross game chat.

Some of your points are so vague.

So what happened to PSN the day MW2 came out while a lot people played happily on XBL then? :)

They didn't expect so much traffic on the game for PS3, actually.

We proved them wrong. It's a multiplatform game, it doesn't have Sony dedicated servers. Only exclusives do.

I know it doesn't have dedicated servers but my point was that more people were playing it via XBL yet on PS3 it went into meltdown with not as many users connected. I'm just saying that if it is as good then they should be ready for any number of users!

huh? It went into meltdown BECAUSE so many users were connected to it at once, and IW didn't anticipate that

Uh...because one is free?

Obviously PSN is free.

But, just look at it from what each service has to offer as whole. They're basically the same.

 

PSN i think has an advantage because of the fact it's free though.

PSN has the most stuff XBL has too, but Microsoft has MORE of 'em.
And i dont think that will change soon.

but on the other hand.. i dont Buy a Console to have Video chat or whatever. :P

its about the games dood's.
