It's a good deal if you already own Sky but a little dissapointing if you don't. This looked like a promising service (for me personally) when it was first mentioned as I can't have a Sky dish at my flat and so this would be the perfect way to get the Sky Sports package (I miss cricket and football ). Unfortunately the subscription price and channel availability put my off. I'm sure they will develop it in the future and if more channels get added then I might be pursuaded to go for it.

Subscription cost is identical to normal Sky. Channels are upgraded daily not futurely. :)

so it isn't £15 a month for footy/sport and movies.....just the basic package

Lets undertand this. the £15/ month is if only payable if you have Sky already with no multiroom. If you have multiroom already there is no charge apart from being on Live Gold.

Now if you dont have Sky, you need have Broadband, Live Gold and what you pay to Sky is what you would normally pay for whatever package you want. I'm guessing you have Broadband. So all you need is to choose your package and pay £48/year for Live Gold.

Here are some links and more acurate info.

http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/skyplayer/

You get 21 channels on your 360 free, wih no charge. All you need is your free Sky ID for existing Sky customers. Channels include all the Sky Sports and ESPN 1 and 2.

If you want to watch all Sky channels that you have on your subscription you need to have multiroom or Sky Broadband Unlimited. Or if you dont have these you can pay £5/month and access all the channels from your 360.

http://skyplayer.sky.com/aboutskyplayer/live-tv.html

And here is the link if you dont have Sky, and you want it for your 360. As you can see it is the same as normal Sky prices. £41/ month for example gives you ALL Sky channels available in there packs from your 360 Sky player.
