I bought a red controler with the rechargable battery and the batery stoped working a few months ago :( it sucks, and I didnt get a new batery till yesterday! and now I am wireless again! wooo, it felt so strange, I got so used to have the controler plugged in :D apart from that no probs with microsoft stuff. Had to send my ps3 back within the first month because of a disk drive problem :(

If at first you don't succeed, you fail

Its these damn companies piss poor testing, if I made a console the console would be tested by running it non stop for 1 month, continued abuse, game swapping, hot and cold conditions. I shouldn't have to treat the console like it has feelings. I still have Gameboy, NES, SNES, PS1 and PS2 and they have absolutely NO problems. The Only problem with the NES is I can't play duck Hunt, Stupid LCD TV.

You had a ps2 and a ps1 and youve had no problems!!!!!

You are one lucky mofo...

I don't think that is so out of the ordinary.

Never had any problems with my ps1 or ps2 except for replacing a controller.

^^Same here never had any problems with my ps1 and ps2 hek my original FAT ps1 is still working!!!!

Unfortunately the xbox has the highest rate of failures, problems than any other console. Latest figures show a 54% failure rate with unofficial figures putting this much higher. Microsoft has received over a billion calls from customers about the xbox failing. Microsoft does not seem to care. People need to rise up and make Microsoft fix these problems.

Look electronics these days suck, Had to fix my wife's blackberry curve, my work one just curdded out, my magellan 1470 went back once cause it would catch the satellite signal now its shutting off. Things that turn on will always have probelms.

When the 360 IS working it rocks

No electronics suck when they are butchered together by an american company trying to keep up with the Japanese. Japanese products are fantastic reliabilitywise. I would NEVER buy any electronic device thrown together by an american company

Bill Gates had Mac prototypes to work from, and he was known to be obsessed with trying to make Windows as good as SAND (Steve's Amazing New Device), as a Microsoft exec named it. It was the Mac that Microsoft took for its blueprint on how to make a GUI.

Yep back in the good old days when Men were Men, and Women were Women, and Kids were Three ducks in a trench coat

I may be right, I may be wrong, but this has me thinking of when I was really young and saw an episode of Ducktales I think which had Louie, Dewey and Huey standing on top of each other wearing a trenchcoat.

Well, I think it was Ducktales anyways.

OT: Sorry to hear that bro. My 360 is from February 2008 and I haven't had any issues with it at all yet, granted I haven't used it in about 4 months now.

My Wii GPU burnt out about 4-5 months in and had to be repaired, only to come back broken and having to be sent out once again.

My PS3 though has been a fighter ever since I got it in Dec. 2006. I use it almost everyday and it is on at least 10 hours a day since we use it as a DVD player. We play Carebears on it for my daughter. Even when playing Demon's Souls I would have to go somewhere and I would just find a safe spot to sit, since you can't pause and leave it sitting around until I got back home. It is still going without a problem.

My PS1/2 had to be replaced a couple time each. I beat those suckers into the ground with my thousands upon thousands of hours of JRPG gaming.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

lol at people talking about how reliable the old cartridge consoles were.
Who cares? They had no moving parts, and couldn't hold a tenth of what a cd could hold.
Time to move on.

That is NO excuse.

I don't think I am delusional. All I want is new technology that actually is reliable. Is that too much to ask for?

The big problems are consumers not company. Company are offering what customers want: cheap product. The needs always come before the products. We would need to rethink our purchasing criteria. Sega CD 15 years ago was 200$, Xbox today is 200$. I dont remember what was the Nes price 22 years ago but it was probably also around 200$. We cannot ask for the same quality. Same thing goes for everything. A refridgerator 30 years ago was 500$ and you can still have fridge at 500$ today. But you also have Miele that sell the same quality as 30 years ago but the fridge is 4000$. The problem is people dont want to buy them and expect that the one they pay 500$ will be as good as 30 years ago.

Your only being delusional if you think that you can have same quality when you pay the same price as 20 years ago. But its not your problems, it is a society problem. When a company try to sell a good product at an honest price considering the quality, they have a really hard time to survive. So less and less company wanna take those risk. If it keep on like that we will not even have the chance to purchase a good product in the near future because no companies will want to take risk manufacturing something that will be more expensive.

Sorry im mad after our american mentality.

yikes, you sound pretty fucking pissed there gar, hmmm.... i thought you sent it to MS?
