As long as the game does not leave the Wii, this is much ado about nothing.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I've already enjoyed and completed the Wii original, but if Marvelous can make the controls work (or even change the game in a new and interesting way) I might just get it again and treat it as a "Director's Cut"*.

* It'd be interesting to read what Suda himself thinks about all this, though.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

Just saw the screens, the resolution/poly bump looks nice. I'm still wondering who's doing the port though?

Yeah looks great. Glad to see. The Wii version is a blast and I'm sure this will be as well.

how about u hold down a trigger button to go into high stance....done, but thats not my point, ppl are makin it seem like NMH abused the motion segments when theey wernt really there...u pushing more buttons than u were motion..they exclusion of motion( maybe) will be missed but lets not paint a not so accurate picture of how substantail they were to the game

Oh, the game will be easy to replicate with just a pad.  Even finishers.  Hell, NMH2 already has Classic Controller support too.

And i think people are talking more about substantial appeal with the motion controls.  They were just really well implemented and fun, I definitely think the game "loses something" without them.

Thats a fine answer..i cool with that, its just this:  " i dont care more ppl can enjoy it.......... but but but it wont be as cool as Wii version becuase of the ultimate motion experience it offered( when the motion was only used in a handful of the full game)

Eh, I'd say they were the highlight of the game. It made better use of standard motion than any other Wii game I know, besides maybe Wii Sports. I'm not exaggerating - I don't normally play beat-em-up's, but the game's awesome combat had me hooked. In a boss fight, it doesn't get any better than dropping their ass with the motion-controlled wrestling moves.

So, for me personally, it did offer the "ultimate motion experience," regardless of how sparse it was. That's probably what makes it work so well, actually - since motion is used for only the most powerful attacks, it makes you feel your slashes are meaningful, so I'd always go nuts on it. Notice this isn't the case anymore when you get so powerful that every other attack is a finisher (which is when the combat gets dull).

Now that I think about it, it's disappointing there aren't other Wii games controlled like this.

As for the topic, obviously I don't care if HD consoles get a port, as it was an afterthought so it didn't affect the Wii's awesome version. Anything I miss out on can be HD youtube'd, no loss.

It's one of the few Wii games where I purposely do elaborate arm gestures just because it feels so satisfying. I think the people who haven't played this don't understand how much it added. It's the perfect combination of button+motion. Gameplay would feel bland without it.

I'll have to see what else they're adding before I decide if I'm getting it again. Right now I wouldn't, but if they really beef it up with extra content I can probably overlook the motion thing.

I lost my hope to see Travis on the next Smash Bros. game. Too bad nintendo didn't help Marvelous with their marketing also core nintendo fans that didn't got the game.

Kojima literally begged to put Solid Snake in smash, what hope Travis has if he was not an exclusive Nintendo related character. That also would help as a marketing stunt for the franchise but now it's just another multiplatform game. In my heart it will be always a Wii exclusive because it was the resson it was created in the first place.

But i am happy and I am hopping other people that were too stuborn to play it on the Wii to try it now on the HD systems.
