how about u hold down a trigger button to go into high stance....done, but thats not my point, ppl are makin it seem like NMH abused the motion segments when theey wernt really there...u pushing more buttons than u were motion..they exclusion of motion( maybe) will be missed but lets not paint a not so accurate picture of how substantail they were to the game

Oh, the game will be easy to replicate with just a pad.  Even finishers.  Hell, NMH2 already has Classic Controller support too.

And i think people are talking more about substantial appeal with the motion controls.  They were just really well implemented and fun, I definitely think the game "loses something" without them.

Thats a fine answer..i cool with that, its just this:  " i dont care more ppl can enjoy it.......... but but but it wont be as cool as Wii version becuase of the ultimate motion experience it offered( when the motion was only used in a handful of the full game)

Oh yeah, I agree with that.  People get too riled up about 3rd party platform exclusives, generally I think ports are only good.

Why should I care? If the series left the Wii all together that would be a shame but so far that's not the case. I see no reason why a developer or publisher shouldn'y seek to maximize their profit by porting to other consoles. though I doubt NMH will sell well on HD consoles either.

Ports are always good.  Well unless they completly butcher it...

I think it's a fair point though that the gameplay's appeal actually did focus largely on the Wii-mote stuff though.

Without that your basically playing for the story... and 1 or 2 of the boss fights.

The wii-mote stuff wasn't dominant over the button pushing... but it was very intergral and just won't have the immersion on a control pad that it did when doing the actions.

Motion controls were pretty well implemented imo, they definitely helped make what's a pretty basic battle system stand out.

You also forgot phone calls using the Wiimote.

Oh yeah this is something!

I personally really enjoyed this game but I think it's gonna bomb being 2 years later already and people in japan shit wii so if they were interested, it'd have already been played.

In Japan... but in the US and Europe... it could do some good numbers.

Really depends how much they spent on the new lighting and textures.

It's going to crater in Japan. Just like with the Wii original and it's sequel, Heroes Paradise is probably being made for the west first and foremost.

Surprised the hell out of me the first time........I thought it was pretty cool.

I think it's great for PS3 and 360 owners that don't have a Wii. I also think that they will be missing out because a good deal of the fun came from the Wiimote controls.

Eh, I'd say they were the highlight of the game. It made better use of standard motion than any other Wii game I know, besides maybe Wii Sports. I'm not exaggerating - I don't normally play beat-em-up's, but the game's awesome combat had me hooked. In a boss fight, it doesn't get any better than dropping their ass with the motion-controlled wrestling moves.

So, for me personally, it did offer the "ultimate motion experience," regardless of how sparse it was. That's probably what makes it work so well, actually - since motion is used for only the most powerful attacks, it makes you feel your slashes are meaningful, so I'd always go nuts on it. Notice this isn't the case anymore when you get so powerful that every other attack is a finisher (which is when the combat gets dull).

Now that I think about it, it's disappointing there aren't other Wii games controlled like this.

As for the topic, obviously I don't care if HD consoles get a port, as it was an afterthought so it didn't affect the Wii's awesome version. Anything I miss out on can be HD youtube'd, no loss.

I actually agree with you 100%.

Well except for the fact that i do play beat em ups... I play lots of them.
