the main series is falling off, but the side quests are good
resident evil, silent hill, clock tower. all need to go back to its roots and bring out a true survival horror
isn't RE5 the top selling one?
All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey
I'll be honest, I didn't take RE5 seriously. Why? Because I couldn''t shake the fact that the ONLY reason why you can't aim while running/walking is to increase a false sense of suspense.
Personally I enjoyed Re5 a lot and it did sells more than the previous iterations.....

Yes but i'm talking about the fear factor that it lacks compared to the earlier games. There is no horror in this game....just gore.
Yes. RE5 was the most dissapointing game I've played this gen. Where were the scary moments? Where was the great storyline? What happened to the awesome characters? What happened to the great gameplay?
RE5 has fucked up the series and I highly doubt that RE6 will change due to RE5's numbers.
@xbbj
oh in that sense I totally agree
in fact RE died with RE4 for me

You guys need to go replay Resident Evil. You couldn't take RE5 seriously because you can shoot and run? Play the older RE games again and see how they control. RE4 and 5 is a big improvement. As for the enemies, hordes of quick enemies coming at you is a lot more intense then a single slow-moving zombie moaning as Chris or Jill runs right past him. Aside from the Crimson Heads in the remake the series was never scary, so they might as well make it an awesome action game like RE4 and 5. RE4 is my second favorite game of all time so I'm perfectly happy with the direction the series is going. Keep it up.
