Finally ! http://www.edge-online.com/news/facebook-twitter-on-xbox-360-november-17

"Social networking sites Facebook and Twitter are to be made publicly available on Xbox 360 on November 17, Microsoft has confirmed."

"On the same day Microsoft will introduce music streaming to Xbox 360 via Last.fm radio, which plays home to over 3.5 million songs, and Zune Video, which will update the platform holder's movie library to 1080p and offer films “instantly” via streaming. Both services were announced at E3 in June."

Don't forget Begium this tme Microsoft !

I am in the preview program. The updates are not bad, but I was bored after a few days with all of them. Not to say you won't like them better.

I can't wait this Tuesday.

The Zune Marketplace is asstons better and if you have a good internet connection you'll stream excellent video very quickly... I have a 5 meg connection and the video started in something like 3 seconds

Hell yea, i love streaming 1080p.

But the rest of the update is useless IMO. Just MS trying one more way not to give us a web browser.

Can someone explain Last.fm to me? Does it basically have it's own section to where you instantly stream music through your 360 on the dashboard or something else entirely?

I could be wrong, but basically you can stream and get access to thousands of tracks from basically any artist from your xbox. It's suppost to be included with your  xbox live gold subscription with no extra cost to you.

Last.fm is great. All you have to do is type in the name of the person you want to hear and then you get a radio station for them. So not only do you get their music but also similar music that sounds like it.

My wife listens to it all the time and I have to admit I like it as well.

Zune HD is an awesome technology... but the current choice is quite weak.

I hear Canada's getting shafted out of the Last.fm feature, following alongside no Netflix. I was kinda looking forward to Last.fm, but after I found out that you could only listen to it on your dashboard and not in-game I don't really care that much, but it still sucks that we miss out again. Good ol' Canadian laws and such.

Last.fm is very good and works very well, the instant on HD is also brilliant and works as well as I had hoped. I cannot speak for Facebook or Twitter as I appear to be the only person on the planet who could not give a toss about it.

Thumbs up for the Last.fm and Zune HD, good job.
