Actually, Naz's rule is this (for those who weren't there):

If the game is on one console and PC/handheld, the term is: "<console name> console exclusive"

For example:

-Mass Effect is 360 console exclusive

-Final Fantasy XIV is PS3 console exclusive

-World of Goo is Wii console exclusive

Are you saying it's not possible for me to think that MW2 is the best FPS I've played on any platform except for Halo 3 (which I admitted to having a goofy unfounded loyalty to)? Do I HAVE to think that Killzone 2 is better? Or Battlefield? Or World at War? I'm just not sure who or what I'm supposed to be trolling.

Single player wise, MW2 is just another game, on both HD consoles. Multiplayer wise it is a lot more, but not the best for everyone.

Just going by the OP's logic does that make the original MW the only worthwhile game on the PS3 in 2007 while it was just another game for the 360 ?

To me, it just seems like another game.. Considering how many millions of people got it, played it, then gave a bad review, or punched a wall after playing it for 17 hours. I'm not into FPS, there are too many of them. MGS4 is the closest thing I have to a FPS, and I'll never buy a FPS, because it gets boring after a while. MGS4 keeps me playing it.. unlike Tekken 6... I'm already bored of that game, and trying to get back into Tekken 5:DR.

The bad user reviews are done by a certain fanbase that is mad about certain thing that IW took out.

This game might be the highest selling NA ps3 game.

Looks like GTA4 syndrome is coming into play. Being non exclusive means non of the crazy ravenous fanboys will be hell bent to defend it, but instead spreading crap about the game in order to make their beloved exclusive appear supieor.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Its not the exclusives on either system that make MW2 just another game, Its the expansion pack IW and Activision tried to pass off as a new game.

Games with a bigger american audience sell better on the 360 than the PS3, which is why this game is 360 front loaded. I wouldn't presume that the game means more to Xbox owners than PS3 owners. If you pitted Halo : Reach against Call of Duty opening week sales on the 360, dollars to doughnuts it would win.
