PS3 will continue to dominate the HD war for a long time to come. Next week 360 should have a small drop (MW2 will save it), but the week after that it'll plummet. Then, Black Friday comes and every console will sell a shitton. PS3 should continue to dominate, selling at least 30 million in total by January 1st, 2010.
Wow, big jump in US, MW2 I guess with the bundles, looks like Ms were right to get behind the title there - or is this before MW2 and down to the Wal*Mart promotion. PS3 really looking like it owns Others now.
Recent trends really seem to indicate PS3 will own Others from an HD point of view, as well as Japan, and 360 is going to need to rely on maintaining its sales in US to prevent PS3 slowly eroding its lead.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

i also think next week is the 360's last week of being ahead in america, with that walmart deal still going and the modern warfare 2 bundle.
yah a 360 for 100 bucks sure helped, we will see numbers next week, now that there not 100 bucks any more

There are persistent rumors that both FFXII and GT5 would be issued before the end of the year in Europe.. Considering the fact that SE has a press event in less then 24h, it could be interesting to see if that would be true (partly, we would still miss the GT announcement). If so, i don't see any reason for PS3 not to take the lead this holiday season and outsell both Wii and X360 massively.
what $100 xbox?? where do you guys shop?
Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^
